Classy Chasis and Lincoln Park

This Saturday the Apple Blossom festivities continued, we woke up on Saturday and went to the kid's favorite park. They love running around Lincoln park. It was a beautiful spring day and it wasn't too windy, yet anyway.

I love the views of Saddle Rock from the park. Dax loves the little pulley ride, he whips back and forth on the line, it makes him feel like a superhero. 

Dayna is getting so big, she is such a pretty young lady, inside and out. She is super talented and smart. She really enjoyed the Harry Potter series. She read the last book in 6 days. 

Lani is getting stronger and stronger, she likes to hang from the monkey bars, she can't quite cross them on her own yet, but she's getting close. 

Avery loves to swing, she says higher and higher. High up to the sky! She is a ball of energy and is sometimes unpredictable. She can switch back and forth pretty quick between terror and sweety. She has a very strong personality and will be a challenge to use that stubborn will for good. 

Dog piles and group hugs are common in our household and apparently we take this practice to the park as well. Every night after family prayer, Avery calls group hug and we all tumble into each other.

The kids really enjoyed the tire swing. I am surprised that they still have these in parks. I spun them until they were almost sick. I don't know if they will be quick to climb up on the swing next time. 

Classy Chasis! This was our first experience at the classy chassis. It's an annual event that they do in East Wenatchee in conjunction with the Apple Blossom. There were some pretty cool old cars, lots of exhaust and burnt rubber. The local bank gave the kids free sunglasses, they were feeling pretty cool.

Lani was feeling like striking a pose, she does some pretty good duck lips. She came up with the pose on her own.

Avery was liking the parade, she would say vroom vroom as the cars would rev up their engines but she covered her ears. She wasn't so sure about the car with Ronald McDonald in it. 

I told Dax that this car was the star of a T.V. star and it can talk. I guess that made it cool enough to take a pic in front of it. 

This was the only classic Z car that we saw. So of course we had to take a pic of it. Maybe one day we will have our Z in the parade. It will be a few years before that happens of course.

The kids pumping some iron while watching the parade. Turns out that the iron is actually styrofoam. The kids are stronger then they look.
