Hop, Son-date

Hello everyone! We can't believe We're already well into April, time just seems to fly by. This week I took Dax out on a Daddy/son date, he called it a "Son date" We went to McDonalds for some dinner and he got to climb up into the play place for a little while. He loves super heroes and they are giving away super hero toys with the happy meals, so he got "Plastic man, his arms are really bendy and he has one giant fist for one hand a giant hammer head for the other. He was pretty proud of it, he carried it around with him for the rest of the evening, making sure to show it all that he crossed paths with. And of course everyone was very impressed. When we were leaving and walking through McDonalds parking lot he looked up at me and said that was "wicked awesome!" We went by Albertsons to pick out a treat for him and his sisters and then we went to fill up on gas. He wanted to come out and stand with me as we waited for the tank to hit full. It was a lot of fun. Janelle got to help out at Dayna's school with popcorn day, they sell popcorn as a fundraiser, she spent a half day at the school with that, she said it was pretty hard work, I can imagine it would be hard to do without having to keep track of two little ones. While she was at the school, the principal came up to talk to Janelle. Dayna's principal had come to see me at the office, Janelle had referred her one day while Dayna was getting registered at her new school. Janelle mentioned that we were trying to get Dax into the pre-school program that they have here, its a pretty big deal they pick the kids up on buses and everything. It is usually for those kiddos with special needs but they also accept other kids to be model students. The principal asked for Dax's name and then immediately wrote an email to the director of the preschool to recommend that Dax be accepted as a model student.  I thought that was pretty cool. This week we had a guest from WA that wasn't family. Dr. Jeremy Cardon is currently living in Moses Lake and he will be moving down to work with me in the Rio Rancho office. He moves down here in a few weeks, he and his wife have a little 3 month old girl. It was nice to get to know him a little bit and we look forward to working together and building this practice. We have stayed pretty busy, and we hope to get even busier. Yesterday evening we took the kids to see the movie Hop, it was pretty funny, the kids really enjoyed it. It was one of those movies where they mix computer animated characters with real people, we thought it would be more of a cartoon. But the kids really liked it.
