Some of this weeks events included: Dax getting a haircut (he loves haircuts), we went to Target and bought some clippers which he clung on to and told Dayna numerous times that they were for his haircut. He hadn't had a haircut since right before his b-day party in June so it was like shearing a sheep.
Janelle took the kids to a bounce house here in Farmington, it was huge and had 10 huge inflatables among other things, the kids had a really fun day, they went to McDonalds and had lunch, Dayna told me that they had the best day ever
On Saturday our primary had an activity, I guess they had a movie night a while back at the church where they brought sleeping bags and watched a movie together, well our Bishop owns the movie theatres in Farmington and he suggested that this time they go to the theatre early on Sat. morning. So they opened the theatre up early just for the primary kids yesterday, each kid got a dollar to buy some candy, and they were given a small box of popcorn and a bottle of water. I thought that they would play an older G rated movie for the kids but they played Toy Story 3 in 3-D. They all had their 3-D glasses on, it was a fun way to start the day. Bishop Allen loved seeing the kids there, he was handing out the water and the 3-D glasses to everyone with a big smile on his face. The kids took a nap and then we took them to the county fair. There they saw lots of farm animals including an English Bantum Hen like Grandma Dicksons, a little girl took it out of it's cage and cuddled with the little hen, she said this is my baby. It reminded me a lot of that little red hen at mom and dads. The kids got to choose two rides that they wanted to go on, it is so expensive to go on rides at the fair and an adult had to go on each one too because Dax was still not quite tall enough to go on them with just him and Dayna.
To finish their day at the fair we got the kids some cotton candy, it was Alana's first experience with the colored sugar and of course she loved it. She has no problem grabbing for whatever she wants, so she would help herself to the sugary goodness. Alana is starting to take a step or two on her own, its fun to see, she'll probably be walking in the next few weeks. Well thats it for us, I am going to send two emails with pics because if I send too many pics on one email it doesn't go through to some people, so sorry for filling up your email boxes! Love to you all, have a great week and don't forget to count your many blessings!
