This -N- That

Music makers on Halloween. All the kiddos dressed up it was a crazy day. every decided to come that day. Dayna loves the parachute!!!
Story time at music makers. look there is cinderella, snow white, cindy lou who, cowgirl, pirates, elephants, i think we had the spread.
Dayna Looking in her Bucket after trick or treatin at music makers. she had so much she really didn't need to go out that night, but did just for fun!
And fun it was. while jon and i were out, chelsea and hans stay at the house to hand out candy...thier house had no visitors last year. when we came back we were pleasantly surprised by the sheperds. here is spidey (jacob), cinderella, pirate (trenton) pumpkin (zander), lion (dax) dayna and jacob are a month apart and dax and zander are 3 weeks different. too bad this is their last year. we of then had to go inside to play some wii... they were first-timers and we will have to do it again SOON!!
Jons lunch- minus sandwich and water, but i thought it was funny cause the day before this happen jon came home saying he had a headache. feeling bad i say "oh sorry want some medicine" well he then continues to explain that it is probably from eating too much candy. well look at this i looked at his lunch before i put the sandwich in and this is what i found....very sneaky jon. just as good as dayna.

While we are on the topic of jon's lunch. there is another story that happened this week that still has me laughing. i went grocery shopping and saw this new ham out "hearty cut ham" instead of the deli ham. well in the morning i got up and started making his lunch. we were talking and i said oh yea i got you new ham. he looked at me dumbfounded. i continue see it's new hearty cut ham...all excited i explain "the pieces are thicker" after seeing no enthusiasm from him he looks at me planly and with no emotion he says "I was not in the marker for new ham" I just started busting up laughing....i thought to myself what is he talking about. well i took no offense to this whatsoever but still find it funny so i tease him if i go get anything if he is in the "market" for. i guess this goes with the old saying....why change a good thing.

life here is going swell. i am excited that halloween is over and that more holidays are coming. dayna's birthday is right around the corner and my mom just finalize her plans on "surprising" dayna for her birthday so it should be fun. I was also excited for daylight savings time...then i realize that daylight savings does not apply to kids and it has the reverse effect on parents....another reason why i am excited for grammy to come.

this coming week should be a good one...dax has pt and xrays on monday, then to the neurosurgeon on wednesday and to the gastro intestinal specialist at the end of the week (he is not that messed up but it seems so) dayna has preschool monday and friday music makers on wednesday. jon has another PATH test on monday which is why we are having daynas party on monday after the test. i have meetings on wednesday and my mom coming thursday. so this week is jammed pack with stuff but i guess that is nothing unusual for me. i am glad to do it.
well thanks for listening and until next sunday....keep it real!

on a side note my good friend kati's baby just got out of the hospital and moved to ronald mcdonalds house and should hopefully move back home by the end of the year. i am excited for this progress and she really is an amazing woman. scarlett just had a bone marrow transplant. its amazing cause her community back at home is helping her raise money for repairs needed on their house before scarlet can come home, and also incrediable amounts of medical bills. she has been living at the hospital for since scarlet was 5 weeks old (she is now 6 months) . she was featured in the newspaper and its amazing the blessings she is recieving. she truly inspires me to do good and i thank her for her friendship. you can keep updated on her blog by clicking the link under charlie and kati anderson.

Dayna looked so pretty as Cinderella. I showed Connor your blog and before I said anything he said "that's my buddy Dayna". Thanks for letting us be in your preschool group.

Jon packs his lunches like Kyle. He loves the junk too! Dayna makes a beautiful princess. I had fun playing with her yesterday. She was so funny. Good Lock at Dax's appointment on Thursday! Let us know how it goes!

I love the candy lunch! That is so something my John would do. And your kiddos look so cute in their costumes.

Dayna is the cutest Cinderella! Glad she has a great halloween. Dax looks perfect as a lion! How fun for your mom to surprise Dayna on her birthday. We just got back from Idaho and Ailee misses her grandpa and grandma so much! It's not fun being far away...

One more thing. I guess I didn't make it clear on my blog, but we don't live close to the Ratnayake's. They are in Boise right by Devin's parents and we are in St. George right by Angela's parents. We really need to switch grandparents so our kids can see them more often!

Dayna was the sweetest Cinderella. I love the picture of her looking at her treats in her bucket. Isn't Halloween the best?? :)
