MY FIRST HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS....MY SCARECROW. AND MY PUMPKING AFTER JON FIXED IT FOR ME.
We had a great time as always with the meyers. this weekend was pretty low key as a path test is coming up and jon studied. we are trying to get ideas for halloween so if you think of anything let me know of some good simple ideas. jon is not a "halloween guy" so i really have to work with him to get into this holiday. halloween was always fun when i was growing up we always celebrated with monkey meat (sloppy joes) and with the saldals. most of the time i was a kitty when i was younger. its fun to have dayna and see her get ready for this holiday the next couple weeks will be filled with different festivities so be sure to check back frequently. :)

Cute pumpkins! You have to check out the Zoo. I went last weekend and it was fun for my kids to trick-or-treat this early. There is also a fun place by the Summit called Kitty's. It's a nursery (landscaping place) where they have all kinds of free Halloween activities set up for the kids like mazes, slides, and a low-key haunted house. We go every year during the day when it's not so busy, but school groups go all the time too.
If Jon doesn't want to go places you could just get a pumpkin shaped pizza @ Papa Murphys and watch not too scarry movies. We trick-r-treated shortly one year and then came home ate the candy and watched a halloween movie with the boys, they loved it!
Wow! I am impressed you guys already got your pumpkins carved. You guys are all great pumkin carvers as well. I am going to try to make music makers but it is always depends on Kasen's naps. We do need to hang out soon! Don't be a stranger.
Fun decorations! I love carving pumpkins at Halloween. This year I'm trying to wait longer because I always end up carving my pumpkin at the beginning of October and it gets all moldy by the time Halloween comes along. :) What's Dayna going to be for Halloween?
