Aloha everyone!
Hope you had a great week. We had another eventful week down here in New Mexico. Dayna had an open house this week, we were able to go to her schoo and see her desk and meet her teacher. She was very excited to show us where she sits. She had an apple on her desk and she described it as a yellow and red Gala apple. She also had some artwork to show off and the kids got to play on the smart board. Dax and Alana stay busy with activities during the week as well. Alana enjoys story time and Dax has his pre-school on Tues and Thurs. I've been working late at the new office, things start to get busy as soon school gets out for the kids. This last week I didn't get done with work till 7pm on one night. It makes for a long day and I miss helping put the kids down but hopefully that doesn't become to common. We are making progress on the TX transition but we're still waiting to hear back from the state dental board about the license. Janelle is already starting to pack, she does a few boxes a week or so. We are starting to sort through things and try to lighten the load. We are looking forward to the transition but not the move.
The kids had a lot of fun picking up trash. Dayna enjoyed it the most, she said this is the best day ever, she said it feels good to do the right thing and help pick up the earth, just like picking up your room. She said watching movies and T.V. is boring. We picked up some trash, but it seemed like spent most of the time picking prickly seeds off of shoes, socks, gloves, and even shirts.
Lani enjoyed playing in the dirt and found this big concrete slab to climb up and slide down. It wasn't until later that we found her pants had a huge hole in the bum, needless to say they are now in the trash.
