recently we went to thunder over louisville and it was a great time. dawn was here so she watched the kiddos while jon and i headed out for the cold. we had to dig out our jackets. it was nice not having to worry about the kids running off.
as we were watching the airshow we were talking and jon thought wow this is crazy. they do awesome things and it was very entertaining. he was like but can you imagine that to some people that sound is very terrifying. the roar of loud jet engines. i can only imagine.
it was a long day and fun to hang out just us two. thunder over louisville kicks off the festivities for the kentucky derby. these next couple weeks are filled with fun events and activities to go to. how lucky we are to be here and experience these things.
on a side note. this morning we were awaken at 530 by an earthquake. all i can do is laugh and think....why not. we have experienced everything else here it seemed like. i was sleeping and jon wakes me up and says are you ok. thinking to myself "why yes....are you?" everything was moving he said....sarcastic me i could have said a lot of funny things. as he is stressing totally right now with finals and all. anways we got up and looked at the news and it was funny cause no newsanchor would say it was a earthquake. they would say...you may have felt something but we aren't sure what it was. well....i am not genius but i knew it was an earthquake before they did :) what else would it have been? i was confused.
basically the same old stuff here. doing great, loving life, and enjoying the adventure. check below for updates on our kiddos

You two braved the cold and it looks like you had some fun! It was funny that there was an earthquake here. Everyone was freaking out! It woke me up, but Brad slept right through.

By the way, Scarlet pulled that mixing bowl of soapy water all over me and all over the kitchen floor! There was like 1/4 inch of water everywhere!!! Pretty funny, I wish I had my camera ready.

BRRRRRR, why did it have to be so cold! We wished we could have seen Thunder this year but we chickened out because of the cold. It looks like you guys had so much fun though!
