Dayna's Christmas

dayna had so much fun this christmas. It was the first time she understood santa (kindof) i told her she had to wait until after my birthday and then that came and she was asking and then i thought i should tell her when it snows. well christmas came and went and we get back to kentucky and it is snowing....she shouts....santa is coming, santa is coming....she sings christmas songs and the whole bit. then i have to explain to her that he already came. anyways what was i thinking....lesson learned.
so much to open and do what should i do?
dayna highlight was her trip was playing with her cousin diego. they were inseparatable. she had so much fun chasing him around and playing whatever. diego speaks some spanish and she loved it before she left but now she says what would diego say? (even though diego doesn't talk a whole lot)
here they are watching a movie. they are a crazy pair. this shot was very rare the whole time they were together...they rarely sat still for 2 seconds. they must have been exhausted.

dayna was so so spoiled. she got a lot of toys i didn't know a three year old needed (apparently i was wrong) and things i didn't even know they made. she loves all her toys. here she is hugging a rhino puppet she also got a porcupine to go with a story which i have to read everynight to her. she also got tons of calico critters which is her new favorite toy right now...weird but calico critters help her fall asleep by herself without crying. if she cries when she goes to bed she gets on taken away...she hasn't cried since. she got all sorts of things like digital camera (who knew you needed so many pictures of a blank wall), doll center, baby dolls, jesus' books, monkey mouth, games, games, and more games, and a lot more toys. overall i think she did well!!
